ICE 815D driving sheet piles for a municipal utility tunnel

Jian De He has started his first sheet piling project with its new ICE 815D in Macao. The piles are 24m long No. 6 sheet piles. The piles are needed for the building of a municipal utility tunnel, for a ramp connected to the Aodang Bridge project, very near the Hk-Macao bridge terminal. Powered by a Volvo engine the eccentric force of the hammer is easily reached for fast installation times.

The sheet piles are accurately positioned by the piling frame, by interlocking the sheet piles before driving a panel is formed, so instead of worrying about the verticality of each pile while driving, the operator can proceed without the need of adjustment during the installation of the pile wall.
