Vibro technology brings many benefits to offshore foundations because of efficiencies in installation speed and handling. The technology is changing the face of the industry and is opening a new chapter in the installation methods available for monopiles.

Now that the industry has recognized the advantages of this technology, the development of vibrating solutions has accelerated enormously. Vibro technology benefits offshore foundations because of its installation speed and handling and is increasingly changing offshore foundation methods. About 15 years ago, Dieseko installed the first anchor piles in submarine soil. Shortly afterwards, Dieseko started coupling vibratory hammers in tandem for more power to install monopiles.

Dieseko’s patented Upending concept was already introduced in 2012 on the Global Tech I wind farm.

In 2011, Dieseko manufactured the PVE 300M, the biggest vibratory hammer ever built. In 2012 this vibratory hammer was made tiltable so that it could up-end piles and used very successfully in the Hochtief Wind project.

    • Complete the foundation work within short weather windows due to efficient handling
  • Brings down installation costs by deploying fewer and more economical tools
    • The pile is lifted, positioned and directly driven into the seabed without the use of a pile gripper or positioning frame or auxiliary lifting crane

Dieseko is currently deploying a newly built 500MU Upending vibratory hammer. And we will start manufacturing the 2000MU Upending Giant this year. This Giant will be another first of the most enormous vibratory hammer ever built. This Giant allows monopiles with a diameter of up to 8.40m and a weight of 1600 tons to be installed.
