The Dieseko Group is a joint forces alliance of two Dutch originated companies: Dieseko's Piling & Vibro Equipment (PVE) and International Construction Equipment (ICE). The history goes back to 1974. Started with the rental of vibratory hammers to foundation companies, the organisation has expanded and grown into an international, financially healthy enterprise, becoming the worldwide market leader with a wide variety of products and services for (deep) foundation works and piling challenges.

Brief history of Dieseko Group

  • 1974 – Founding Dieseko – Bolnes
  • 1977 – Founding ICE – Amsterdam as an importer of American vibratory hammers
  • 1978 – Dieseko moves to Papendrecht and  becomes a dealer of foreign vibratory hammers
  • 1979 – ICE produces first vibratory hammer
  • 1983 – Dieseko moves to Sliedrecht where it is still based
  • 1983 – ICE equipment is used on the construction of the Delta Works
  • 1985 – Dieseko focuses on its own manufacturing plant: VIP – Versluis Industrial Products
  • 1989 – Dieseko launches PVE
  • 1990 – ICE part of Geveke
  • 1992 – Introduction of PVE 2320VM the first Variable Moment Vibratory Hammer
  • 1995 – Dieseko opens a branch in the USA
  • 1995 – ICE expands its dealer network to 32
  • 1996 – The PVE ringvibrator is introduced
  • 2001 – The huge PVE 200M is introduced and directly put to work on the construction of the Betuwelijn
  • 2004 – Active Share takes over ICE
  • 2005 – ICE products active in Dubai for Palm Island
  • 2007 – ICE wins Gazelle award for the second time in a row
  • 2008 – Founding of Dieseko Group BV – PVE and ICE merge and they join forces
  • 2009 – Developing the 200M ‘twin’ for the constructions of wind farms
  • 2009 – The PVE 200M active in Bard1 offshore project
  • 2010 – PVE 300M, Dieseko Group once again introduces the biggest vibratory hammer in the World
  • 2010 – With the establishment of ICE China in Shanghai a fully owned rental fleet comes available
  • 2010 – With the Vibroflot, a new product is added to the range
  • 2011 – A rental fleet is established in Brazil
  • 2012 – The award for ”Best Managed Companies” is won again
  • 2012 – Dieseko Group provides two sets of the PVE 300 MU upending vibratory hammer, to the prestigious Global Tech wind farm in Germany
  • 2013
    – Dieseko Group introduces the variable moment into China and Brazil
    – Introduction of the modular offshore hammer PVE “Giant”
    – Introduction of a patented start-stop system
    – NPM Capital, a subsidiary of SHV acquires a majority stake in Dieseko Group
  • 2014 – Dieseko Group celebrates 40th anniversary
  • 2014 – Introduction of PVE 500M, the world’s biggest monobloc vibratory hammer
  • 2015 – Dieseko Group acquires PVE Piling & Drilling Rigs.
  • 2015 – Dieseko shows the world a new pile driving technology. In cooperation with RTI, Dieseko Group develops the Resonator.
  • 2015 – PVE PDR builds the largest rig in its history: the PVE 300PD.
  • 2016 – Dieseko acquires Woltman Piling Equipment and founds:Woltman Piling & Drilling Rigs
  • 2017 – From april Dieseko Group is worldwide supplier of Bell Dredging Pumps and amphibious dredgers
  • 2017 – The huge PVE 500M decommissioned the Lely wind turbines
  • 2018 – Dieseko Group acquires majority interest in Pilequip Australia
  • 2019 – Mr Dirk Smulders Chairman of the Board/CEO
  • 2019 – Introduction of the Side Gripper
  • 2019 – Introduction of the noise mitigation screen
  • 2020 – Dieseko launches the Frog: a vibrator plate for ground improvement
    – PVE 110MU upending vibratory hammer installs 400 piles in Canada
    – Dieseko ESG program approved
    – Introduction of Dieseko Academy
  • 2021 – Launching the Founding the Future campaign
    – Dieseko Group invests in a zero-emission program
    – Successful test and DNV-certification of the 500MU Upending/lifting Vibratory Hammer.
  • 2021 – Dieseko Offshore has secured a contract with Saipem for the supply of the 2000MU Vibratory Hammer used  to install
    the monopiles on the Calvados Offshore Wind Farm
  • 2021 – Start of the manufacturing of the newly designed 2000MU
  • 2022 – Woltman builds the first 90DRe. An electric powered Drilling Rig
  • 2023 – With the PVE 700e, our first zero emission Electric Hydraulic Power Unit, several kilometres of sheet piles were driven next to a river.
    – Introduction of the PLD100T Pile Lifting Device.
