The scope of work was to repair and rebuild the damaged navigation structure on one of water gates along waterway from Baltic sea to Harbour of Szczecin. The deepening of this waterway to a depth of 12.5m was a part of the one of biggest marine projects in recent years in Poland. The total distance of water way deepening was approximately 67km. The project was executed by the consortium of Belgium contractor DEME International and Dutch company Van Oord.

Dieseko Polska as the authorized representative of Dieseko Group on Polish market supports our Polish contractors in marine works regarding foundation equipment. This time our local customer PBW ELBLĄG was executing the repair of a navigation structure damaged by a vessel 2 years ago.

In scope of work the contractor had to drive with our ICE23RF powered by ICE600 power pack double sheet piles PU-12S with the length of 20.0m around the circular cofferdam with a diameter of 14.6m. The cofferdam was done as the protection for demolition works of the navigation structure’s foundation. New foundation and upper structure made of original brickwall were executed, and at the top a renewed steel navigation structure was installed.

The works have been processed from June till December of 2022.
