First job PVE 32VM

On the Heerema site in Vlissingen (Holland), Van der Straaten (VDS) is constructing a loading / unloading platform. The platform is founded on tubular piles Ø1,420mm x 21mm x 18,000 – 21,000mm.

The piles are inserted with vibrating technology using a brand new PVE 32VM Vibratory Hammer with a variable moment. VDS deployed this beautiful vibratory hammer for the first time on a project.

After the brief commissioning, including instruction from Dieseko, VDS was able to install the tubular piles at high speed. Two shorter tubular piles were installed in the slope. After removing the stones VDS installed the tubular piles, with a tolerance of +/- 70mm, and re-strengthened the slope with colloidal concrete. Furthermore, 4 large mooring piles were installed using the Vessel Delta. These special assembled piles measure Ø1650×19 with a length of 32,000mm – 37,000mm. The pre-installation was done using a PVE 105M Vibratory Hammer. An impressive PVE 200M Vibro was used for on-depth installation of the piles.

This Project will be completed at the end of 2020. Dieseko congratulates VDS with this vibratory hammer.
