Based on these results, guidelines for the efficient and environmentally friendly installation of piles and sheet piles are proposed. It is concluded that the vibration frequency is an important parameter for the efficient and environmentally safe installation of sheet piles and, tests provide insights into the interaction of a vibrated sheet pile and the surrounding ground.
