At Dieseko, we recognize that the onshore, nearshore and offshore sectors are not only driving progress but also carry a responsibility to shape a world where sustainability is a key priority. From growing climate pressures to resource scarcity and stricter regulations, our industry is evolving rapidly. That’s why we’re taking action with our ESG plan. From lowering emissions and improving workplace safety to investing in our people and strengthening governance, we are building a foundation for sustainable growth.
Dieseko’s Sustainability Strategy
Each one of the 6 pillars of our strategy reflects a key area of focus, backed by ongoing efforts and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Environment
1. Sustainability in Product Innovation
We support customers who are taking steps towards more sustainable business operations. We’ve selected 6 topics for our product development where we can make a real difference. Our product innovation strategy, Founding the Future, is how we put this into practice. With six key innovation topics, we focus on lowering emissions, enabling circular use, and improving performance across the full life cycle of our equipment. Each topic reflects our commitment to helping clients meet today’s project demands while preparing for the environmental and regulatory expectations of the future.
2. Emission Reduction
Dieseko is committed to reducing its Scope 1 and 2 CO2 emissions. We have targets in place to reduce scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 2030 from a 2022 base year, as well as a commitment to monitor our Scope 3 emissions.
Our two main levers for decarbonisation are electrifying our (lease) car fleet and sourcing renewable energy. We’ve already taken important steps. Our approach is practical, data-driven, and focused on high impact energy savings.
Social
3. Zero Incident workplace
At Dieseko, we take safety seriously. Working with heavy equipment and industrial processes brings inherent risks, both at our own sites and in the environments where our machines are used. That’s why we are steadily building a stronger safety culture across the company and formalizing our approach to occupational health and safety, using ISO45001 as a guideline.
4. A supportive and inclusive workplace
Career development
We want our people to grow with us. That’s why we invest in training and development as a key part of our employee experience. We are integrating career development paths into our annual performance evaluations, helping employees see clear opportunities for growth and progression. This structured approach supports both individual ambitions and the long-term needs of the company.
Employee engagement and diversity & inclusion.
Within our organization, we place great importance on ensuring the right person is in the right role. We are committed to creating a work environment where talent and suitability are the key criteria. Where possible, and when qualifications are equal, we give preference to female candidates, particularly for leadership positions. We recognize that this remains a challenge within our industry, but we continue to actively promote diversity and inclusion at all levels of the organization.
Governance
5. Corporate governance and compliance
We have a compliance program in place to support ethical and responsible business conduct. This includes a company-wide Code of Conduct that sets out expectations for integrity, transparency, and accountability in our daily operations. To reinforce the principles laid down in the Code of Conduct, all employees complete mandatory annual training on Competition Law and Anti-Bribery Anti-Corruption. This helps ensure that everyone understands the standards that apply to our work and the risks we must avoid.
Dieseko complies with all applicable (inter)national, UN, EU and US rules with regards to trade sanctions. Compliance is monitored by a Compliance Officer.
6. ESG in our supply chain
We recognize that our impact extends beyond our own operations. That’s why we are taking steps to integrate ESG considerations into our supply chain. Since 2024, we started engaging suppliers on ESG topics, starting with CO₂ emissions. This is an evolving process, and we plan to expand the scope of our engagement in the coming years.
Our Supplier Code of Conduct outlines the standards we expect from our partners, covering areas such as human rights, environmental responsibility, and ethical business practices. It serves as the foundation for our due diligence efforts and helps us build more transparent and responsible supply chains. By working together with our suppliers, we aim to drive positive change across the value chain.
Oversight and accountability
Our sustainability strategy is overseen by Dieseko’s ESG Committee, which meets quarterly. Each strategy pillar is supported by dedicated topic owners who are responsible for tracking progress, driving initiatives and monitoring targets. Our first double materiality assessment was conducted in 2024 to ensure our priorities remain aligned with stakeholder expectations and industry developments. We review and update the assessment annually and use the results to guide our focus.
