A joint venture, with leading partner ITINERA S.p.A is the contractor that will build the new Danish Storstrøm Bridge.
Dieseko Group provided the joint venture with an OEM-built compacting hammer, ‘the frog’, which will stabilise the gravel layer for the foundation construction. Recently Dieseko successfully commissioned this machine at a testing area in Denmark.
The new 3.84 km Storstrøm Bridge will connect Zealand and the island Falster via Masnedø. The Storstrøm Bridge will become the third largest bridge in Denmark upon the completion of construction in 2022. The new cable-stay bridge will carry a two-lane highway, a bicycle and pedestrian path and a double-track electric railway.
