Dieseko Polska: Delivering and thinking along in customization

Wherever large-scale work is carried out on waterways, Dieseko Group’s input cannot be missed! In that case, we combine our international expertise so that our clients can offer their clients the best possible solution. For example, when deepening the waterway from the Baltic Sea to the port of Szczecin in Poland.

Jarosław Tarasiuk is director of Dieseko Poland. He tells how they supported the contractor in question with materials and advice.

Major maritime project
Jarosław: “This work was part of one of the biggest maritime projects in Poland in recent years: the deepening of the waterway from the Baltic Sea to the port of Szczecin, to a depth of 12.5 metres!” The total length of the waterway is about seventy kilometres. The project was carried out by a consortium of Belgian contractor DEME International and Dutch company Van Oord. “Our local client, contractor PBW ELBLĄG, carried out the repair of a navigation structure damaged by a ship two years ago,” Jarosław explains.

Two types of clients
Dieseko Polska, as Dieseko Group’s subsidiary on the Polish market, supports Polish contractors in, among other things, marine works with foundation equipment. Jarosław: “We recognize roughly two types of customers. Most building contractors know what equipment they need. Our input then mainly consists of maintenance and preparation for optimal use.”

Solution provider
“The other group is more specific,” he continues. “Right now, for example, we are supporting a Polish contractor with work on a deep container terminal in Gdańsk. We advise the customer which equipment can be used based on soil testing. During and after delivery, we always ensure that the equipment is instantaneously adapted to the needs: this is truly customized work. In this construction, we are a solution provider!”

Different priorities
Jarosław: “So our priority is not only sales and rentals, but also to provide optimal advice and service. We respond immediately to customer requests, in case of emergencies. Our solutions are important, because the goal is that any machine downtime is as short as possible.” He continues: “The great advantage of Dieseko Group as an international organisation is that we can exchange a lot of knowledge and always have a back-up machine in the huge rental fleet! For example, we take clients to the Netherlands so that we can demonstrate certain solutions. We think and act internationally. We think and act internationally and keep our view on the horizon as broad as possible. In the spectrum of possibilities, we look for the best solution by thinking out of the box!”

As Dieseko Group, we almost always have a solution in house with our vibration technology. For every challenge. With almost fifty years of experience and knowledge, and high-quality products, we offer security. And that is the best solution you can offer a customer.”
