Power Electronics Engineer

In this role you will closely work together with a group of extremely talented engineers within different technical disciplines. The Power Electronics Lead Engineer will be technically end responsible for the maintenance development and successful prototyping of all electric “zero emission” drive trains, driving our equipment. Typically we are looking at electrical drive systems up to 2,5 MW up to 1500VDC / 1000VAC of electrical power, running in the low voltage range. You will be closely working together with our Director Technology & Engineering and a number of A-class suppliers and engineering support companies.

  • Highly skilled in electrical system engineering of drive trains using components such as E-motors, frequency drives, rectifiers, transformers, capacitors, battery systems, grid connections, bus-bar designs, etc;
  • Knowledge of design / development of PMS systems;
  • Knowledge of design / development of BMS systems;
  • Knowledge of design / development of PLC systems;
  • Knowledge of design / development of hybrid power grids;
  • Skilled in usage of E-CAD software;
  • Strong communicative skills;
  • Independent “can do” mentality;
  • Above all the correct candidate must show the drive, passion and ambition to be successful in this field of knowledge.
